Worth knowing
- During the summer months, the supermarkets in Seeboden are conveniently also open on Sundays and public holidays. In the local stationery shop Musician international daily newspapers are also available in addition to holiday reading material. From the Villa Seegarten there are many Restaurants, a Drugstore and the Pharmacy easily reached in six minutes on foot.
- Doctors from all the usual specialities are available to answer health questions in Seeboden, Spittal and Millstatt are available. A Hospital is available in Spittal.
- There are three e-charging stations in the village. The nearest one is just 600 metres away next to a supermarket, where you can do your shopping in the meantime.

Is the Millstätter cycle path easily accessible from Villa Seegarten?
Yes, the Millstätter cycle path is only 200 metres away from Villa Seegarten.
What other cycle paths are there in the area?
Very nice Cycle paths are also the Drau cycle path (6 km away), the Glockner cycle path (10 km away) and the Ciclovia Alpe Adria cycle path (70 km away) from Tarvisio to Grado.
Can I get to the mountains without my own car?
Yes, with the Nockmobil a flexible on-call bus system is available in the Millstätter See region. If you book in advance, the Nockmobil will take you comfortably to hiking starting points, excursion destinations, railway stations or restaurants in the surrounding area. The nearest bus stop is 200 metres from Villa Seegarten.
Can we park our e-bikes safely?
Yes, a separate lockable room is available for this purpose.
Where is the next stage end point of the Alpe-Adria-Trail?
Stage 11 coming from Gmünd ends in the neighbouring Klingerpark, where stage 12 continues in the direction of Alexander Hütte. The point is a two-minute walk from Villa Seegarten.
